ABSTRACT
The article assesses the signs of economic recovery in the U.S. The Treasury Department came up with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to help home buyers and lending institutions affected by the global financial crisis. The economy is expected to grow in the second half of 2009 and long-term interest rates will head higher.
