ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the efforts of Spain to push the immigrants back to their homeland. It notes that a November 2008 law allows legal immigrants to cash out with a one-time payment of 60 percent of their total unemployment benefits if they will agree to return home. It points out that this government gift bears a cost. However, it is considered to be great for those who think of returning to their countries.
