ABSTRACT
The article urges that an economically sound and sustainable energy source needs to be developed within Bermuda. The colony relies almost entirely on fossil fuels for electric production, with a very small remaining percentage being harnessed through waste to energy methodologies. The author argues that the importation of petroleum creates a negative cash flow and advocates for renewable fuel stocks as a way of revitalizing the local economy.
