ABSTRACT
The article reports that retailer Carrefour SA has opened its first hypermarket in Moscow, Russia and plans to expand further in the country. As cited, the store, which is located at the Filion shopping mall, will offer a food range of 15,000 items along with 30,000 non-food items, such as clothing and white goods. By the end of 2009, the retailer is expecting to open two more stores, one in Lipetsk and another in Krasnodar.
