ABSTRACT
The article analyzes the sustainability of the use of renewable energy and the government's green program in Spain. There are growing concerns regarding the impact of the financial crisis on the sustainability of renewable energy projects because these projects also need funds. Energy companies admitted difficulty in finding funds for projects which create problems on the threat that some projects will be closed.
