ABSTRACT
The article reports that Michael Bishop, chairman of BMI British Midland Airways Ltd., has appointed Linklaters LLP corporate partner Matthew Middleditch to manage his plan of selling his company to airline company Lufthansa in Germany. It reveals that Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP advises Lufthansa on the deal where it requested Bishop to put up around £100 million of capital in the company. Lufthansa stresses to proceed on the acquisition once its requirements are met.
