ABSTRACT
Červar-Porat (Istria, near Poreč) is the first resort town built on the east Adriatic coast (1974-1981). Through the evaluation of the achieved levels of quality of the contemporary urban agglomeration, the author raises the question of the possibilities of preventing further devastation, mainly through the new Detailed Management Plan (Detaljni plan uredenja - DPU), to be drafted in the near future.
