ABSTRACT
The article claims that health care reform in the U.S. will make Americans more economically secure but will not necessarily make the people healthier. It is viewed that health care reform is a health care system spending reform. According to Professor Harold Pollack of the University of Chicago in Illinois, there is a big pay off to health care as a beneficial outcome from health care reform. A report titled "Beyond Health Care," released by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, concluded that health insurance does not equal health.
