ABSTRACT
The article discusses social order in the Netherlands and examines the impact of the growing Muslim social group on Dutch society. Details are provided about Dutch social diversity and about how Dutch society has responded to Turkish and Moroccan immigration. The political state of the Netherlands is described and the growing fear of Islam in the Netherlands following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 is also explored.
