The article discusses the 2008 New Product Pacesetters Report developed by Information Resources Inc. (IRI) in the U.S. The report reveals that a total of 859 food and beverage consumer packaged goods (CPG) were launched in the said year. It reveals that CPG products developed during the year focused on convenience, health and wellbeing, and taste.
