ABSTRACT
Since the beginning of the twentieth century several generations of light engineers designing natural illumination for building, have studied luminance distribution over the firmament. The researchers understood that luminance distribution directly influences light illuminance distribution indoors. This fact should be taken into consideration during calculations. The present article is mainly dedicated to the problem to determine economic and power efficiency of natural illumination systems and to choose the most effective solution.
