ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of U.S.-based Exxon Mobil Corp. to invest $29 billion in projects in 2009. The automaker asserted that it could further growth another way through partnering with some of the world's nationalized, state-run oil companies. Furthermore, the automaker was sitting on $31 billion in cash at the end of 2008. Chief executive Rex Tillerson said that the automaker is well situated to execute the types of deals.
