ABSTRACT
The article reports on rumors that Dow Chemical is selling part of Dow AgroSciences. The former was said to have been communicating with private equity firms regarding the sale, including Blackstone Group and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. On the other hand, the company has not ruled out any options to improve financial flexibility as it prepares for the trial concerning Rohm and Haas's (R&H) suit to force completion of Dow's proposed R&H acquisition.
