ABSTRACT
The article reports on the alliance created by Dallas, Texas-based Blockbuster Inc. with Sonic Solutions for the distribution of its movie, video games and television content across multiple digital channels. The companies will also make their digital libraries of studio content available for video-on-demand and electronic sellthrough. According to Blockbuster chairman Jim Reyes, they plan to become a ubiquitous presence in the digital world.
