Ford Motor Co. was meditating the possible sale of Volvo Car Corp. and renewing their previous efforts of focusing on the Ford brand. General Motors Corp. was a bit more vague, as it claims to only look to enforce a reduction in brands, nameplates and retail outlets. Chrysler Corp. did not discuss any potential divestitures.
