ABSTRACT
The article presents a country forecast for Tunisia for 2009. It is predicted that President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali will win another term in office in September with more than 90 percent of the vote. The major objective of the government's five-year economic plan for 2007-2011 is the reduction of the unemployment rate and boosting living standards.
