ABSTRACT
The article offers techniques on how to address the economic condition of sheep industry in Ireland. According to the author, shepherds should concentrate their strategy and management towards lower costs initiatives and less work that maintains good output and higher margin yields. The strategies include proper grassland management for lambing, lamb finishing handling facilities and breeding schemes.
