ABSTRACT
The author discusses the aspects of visual thinking as part of the larger scope of information and visual literacies in real life and in virtual reality. In her discussion, she makes use of a computer game "Second Life (SL)," wherein she named her avatar as SuperTechnoGirl, in order to grasp on how all concepts, definitions, and spirals of fancy come together in real life way. She notes that SL uses a conceptual framework that allows players to look at the world of SL in a visual and spatial way as people used to doing in real life such as walking around. She then provides definitions of visual literacy, information literacy, digital literacy, and media literacy based on their specific applications in SL.
