ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the arguments over the offshore drilling in the U.S. According to Steve Andrews, cofounder of the Association for the Study of Peak Oil and Gas-USA, the country does not know its oil potential because the moratorium that prevents preliminary testing. Athan Manuel of the Sierra Club said that lifting the ban on drilling for oil and natural gas will have no immediate effect on gas prices.
