ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the study of the European Union (EU) on plans for a transnational power grid in the North Sea that could provide electricity from renewable sources for 70 million homes. The grid will link more than 100 wind farms, comprising 10,000 turbines to seven countries. The plans assume that 68.4 gigawatts will be generated from 118 North Sea wind farms by 2030.
