ABSTRACT
The article reports that two significant conclusions have been derived from the enactment of the anti-Catholic school legislation in the state of Oregon in November 1922 and the developments which have taken place since then. The first conclusion states that the Catholic school in the U.S. is being tried by its enemies, while the second states that the rights of Catholic education are being defended with more intelligence and vigor than ever before in the history of the Church in the U.S.
