ABSTRACT
The article highlights the usability of web sites as a key to driving Internet sales. A report by Coast Digital revealed that 78% of e-shoppers have switched off a computer out of frustration with 47% saying that sites that crash mid-transaction is a major source of web rage while the average abandon rate for shopping carts is 60%. Fadi Shuman of Pod1 says that they believe that usability goes hand in hand with things that makes the consumer thinks positively about his online shopping experience because buying things online is a stressful experience. INSET: John Lewis sees conversions rise after usability tests.
