Granger, Kelly
May 2008
Boutique Design;May/Jun2008, Vol. 4 Issue 3, p58
The article features Jane Gordon Clark, founder and sole designer of Ornamenta, a wall decoration and border manufacturer. She affirmed that travel and history are her inspiration for her work. She founded her company in 1986, wherein she created the set Tromp l'oeil or "trick or the eye" collection, a set of wall decorations and borders that resembled real twisted rope, rosettes and panels. She realized that the proportion of the block is significant in making wallpaper look elegant on wall.
