ABSTRACT
The article reports on the study which assess the effectiveness of Medicaid family planning services in reducing teenage pregnancies in the U.S. It states that the initiative will encourage sexually active women to use contraceptives which has been found to be efficient in the prevention of unwanted pregnancies among teenagers. In addition, it will help teenage women address the burden on increased costs associated with unwanted births.
