ABSTRACT
The article reports on the energy reforms in Michigan as well as funds targeting direct investments in midsize firms. Bills dealing with electric regulation, energy efficiency and a state standard for renewable energy have moved into the Michigan House-Senate conference committees for reforms. It states that the bills could be voted on soon if the committees reach a compromise. Michigan's new $300m Invest Michigan! fund is targeting small and midsized companies in a wide range of sectors.
