ABSTRACT
An academic paper is presented which discusses a study of information-search behavior in high school and university students. Information overload and its effects on students with poor information literacy was one topic addressed in the study. The empirical study's results show that few students make an effort to broaden research methods or to reflect critically on their own searching procedures and findings.
