Finweek;2008 Mining Yearbook Supplement, p58
The article presents information on the market position of various diamond companies in South Africa. The diamond companies have faced a tough time in the past one year and they are unlikely to experience near-term growth. The main reason for such a condition is the low supply in contrast to high demand as there are no new major projects in the pipeline. However large, high-value diamonds have been unaffected by this economic slowdown.
