ABSTRACT
The article reports on the criticism of the Commons Public Accounts Committee in Great Britain on the work of the Carbon Trust in reducing carbon dioxide emissions of 4.4 million tons by 2010 compared to 1990 levels. Similarly, the National Audit Office shared the same view with the committee in 2007. Carbon Trust is a non-profit private organization established in 1991. Inspite of the implementation by the business and public sectors, chairman Edward Leigh is requesting the company to encourage small business to cut their emissions.
