ABSTRACT
The article discusses various reports published within the issue, including one by Rivka Oxman on a performance-based design that gives a framework for how form could be generated by environmental performance factors and another by Markus Schein and Oliver Tessmann on performance-based structural design with a method to optimize surface-based structures.
