The article reports that the 2008 season of East Bernard's baseball team came to an end on May 3, 2008 when player Michael Vickery belted a three-run shot in the bottom of the eight inning for a 12-9 Class 2A Region IV win at Veteran's Park Strickland Field in Weimar, Texas.
