ABSTRACT
The article reports that U.S. Representative Raúl Grijalva and other Democratic lawmakers supported an environmental lawsuit over the construction of a border wall along the border with Mexico. They backed up a Supreme Court lawsuit filed by the Sierra Club and Defenders of Wildlife over environmental waivers set by the Department of Homeland Security to build the border wall. The government claimed that laws referring to homeland security allow the environmental rules to be waived.
