ABSTRACT
The article reports that Focus on Energy, the energy efficiency and renewable energy initiative of the state of Wisconsin, has achieved a combined generation capacity of 1 megawatt with its 330th co-funded solar electric system. The burning of tons of coal will be offset by the systems which is expected to prevent greenhouse gas carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere. Niels Wolter, the solar electric program manager for Focus on Energy's Renewable Energy program, tells the significance of the installation of solar electric systems.
