ABSTRACT
The article discusses both the usefulness of Darwinian theory and its apparent limitations in explaining certain phenomena. Patterns of biological evidence that challenge neo-Darwinism are presented such as the lack of sufficient genetic variation and the fallacy of the assumption of genetic programs. Additional patterns of biological evidence that challenge common descent, are also discussed including: the fossil record, the genetic code, and vertebrate embryos. The author concludes that because of this evidence there is a case for design theory.
