ABSTRACT
The article reports on the passage of another extension of the 2002 farm bill by the U.S. House and Senate on March 12, 2008. A new farm bill has been stalled since the House passed its version in July 2007 and the Senate passed its version in December, although congressional negotiators and the administration of President George W. Bush have been conferring in recent weeks to try to work toward agreement.
