ABSTRACT
The article discusses the plans for the 150th anniversary of Darwin's theory of natural selection and Charles Darwin's 200th birthday in 2009. It is noted that departments of education in both Florida and Texas may change their education curricula to require the teaching of both evolution and creationism. A website highlighting the importance of Darwin's scientific contributions will be launched by the UK Research Councils.
