ABSTRACT
The article discusses how much 2008 U.S. presidential candidates spent on advertising campaigns as of February 2008. TNS Media Intelligence/CMAG has tracked more than 180,000 television spots on local and national broadcast along with national cable. The author states that an estimated $158 million has been spent by candidates and groups. Candidate Mitt Romney has spent the most with more than 35,000 airings and $30 million worth of television ads.
