ABSTRACT
The article reports on the financial performance of Netflix Inc. for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2007. Netflix chief executive officer (CEO) Reed Hastings confirms with investors that the service is pulling away from rival Blockbuster Inc. According to media analyst Michael Pachter, the apparent cooling off between the rivals will be mutually beneficial. Netflix posted a net income of $15.8 million on revenue of $302.4.
