ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the search of the U.S. transportation industry for economic stimulus. It is stated that lawmakers and lobbyists are rushing to include dollars for roads, bridges, rail and other transportation projects in an economic stimulus package. As they push hard for an infrastructure component to the stimulus package, American Road and Transportation Builders Association spokesman Matt Jeanneret stresses that they want to see transportation investment as part of the stimulus.
