ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the foreign relations of Sudan. The country declared war on Israel when the Arab-Israeli war began in June 1967. However, Sudan gradually shifted its stance and was supportive of the Camp David Accords in the early 1970s. Sudan's relations with Libya deteriorated in 1970s and reached a low in 1981, when Libya issued a policy of cross-border raids into western Sudan.
