ABSTRACT
The article presents an argument against alternative energy exploration. It is the author's opinion that individuals and organizations should focus on energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption. Worldwide oil reserves, fuel efficiency standards, and reduction of energy emissions are discussed. Costs and environmental problems associated with alternative energy sources are explored.
