ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the call to end the embryonic stem cell research controversy in the U.S. The author believes that it is not necessary to spend federal taxpayer money to sacrifice the life of human embryos to advance embryonic stem cell research. He stresses that the research violates the moral code of Americans although its goal is to provide treatments for devastating diseases and conditions of human patients. Furthermore, an overview of embryonic stem cells is presented.
