ABSTRACT
Discusses the use of temperatures in 616 boreholes from all continents except Antarctica to reconstruct century-long trends in temperatures since 1500 at global, hemispheric and continental scales. Number of borehole temperature profiles that show net warming; Temperature change as a constant on the climate-sensitivity factor of global climate models.
