ABSTRACT
The article focuses on forest fires across the Western region of the United States. According to the author, more than 600,000 acres of Montana were damaged by forest fires with close to 30 major fires lasting from mid-June until first snowfall in October. Researchers have linked the worsening fires to global warming.
