ABSTRACT
The article reports on the effect of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) decision about election reform in the U.S. It states that advocates fear that a FEC decision could result to an onslaught of corporate and union-funded attacks on the eve of the presidential primaries. The decision held that the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002 (BCRA) cannot ban corporate and union money from paying for election ads and communications, as long as it does not defeat a candidate.
