The article discusses the effects of the client commission arrangements (CCAs) on securities trading in the U.S. It eliminates the interaction between the broker-dealer's trading desk and the client. A decline in revenues for brokers has occurred because money managers are opting to direct more of their trades to a small, elite group of large trading houses. To counteract such problems, Robeco company has developed an execution-plus model to become the standard for transactions.
