The article presents the procedures and the outcomes of the airport and airway trust fund (AATF) excise tax in the fiscal year 2007, as presented by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). Accordingly, several procedures are presented including the Internal Revenue Service's (IRS) quarterly receipts certification and transactions that represents total IRS tax revenue receipts and refunds. Moreover, results are also presented.
