ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the joint program between WoodGreen Community Services and Mondial Energy to install a rooftop solar heating systems in Toronto. Designed by Taylor Munro Energy Systems and installed by SolSmart, the solar heating panel is the largest rooftop solar energy system in Ontario. The project will benefit communities from WoodGreen's social housing sites in Toronto. The system is consists of one hundred eight glazed flat-plate collectors and will be utilized to offset natural gas consumption for water heating at the community.
