ABSTRACT
The article focuses on a controversy among the producers of ethanol and gasoline in the U.S. over the issue of high gasoline prices. It is mentioned that, the American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE), a trade association, has written letters to leaders in the U.S. Congress, blaming the major oil companies for discouraging the use of ethanol by failing to pass along savings to consumers. However, the oil companies have dismissed ACE's allegations.
