ABSTRACT
The article reports that Public Television Service Foundation (PTS) has chosen the mobile television (TV) solutions of Thomson for Digital Video Broadcasting-Handheld (DVB-H) pilot trials of its mobile TV service in Taiwan. The pilot launch was simultaneously being made with leading mobile operators including Chunghwa Telecom Co. Ltd., Taiwan Mobile, and Far EasTone Telecommunications Co. Ltd.
