ABSTRACT
The article presents two views on whether boys and girls should be educated in separate classrooms in public schools. Marcus Suruor of California states that boys and girls should be educated in different classrooms because sometimes they distract each other when they are together. Egna Arzate of Georgia opposes the creation of single-sex classrooms because, according to her, boys and girls can learn from each other in a classroom.
